As kids head back to class for the first time since mid-April, local school boards are working with public health in Chatham-Kent and Lambton County to boost the youth vaccination rates.
A number of clinics are being held at high schools across the region over the next few weeks, starting at Tilbury District High School this Thursday. The clinic runs from 2:30 to 3 for students and families only, then opens to the public until 7pm.
Other high school clinics run Friday at McGregor in Chatham, next Monday in Pain Court, next Wednesday at UCC, and in Ridgetown on Friday the 17th.
Meantime, a mobile vaccination team will be at the Bothwell Library from 3-8pm today, and at the Chatham site of the Health Alliance tomorrow from 2-8pm, both open to anyone born in 2009 or earlier.
