Chatham-Kent has hit 140 active cases of COVID-19.
Today’s report from Public Health includes 15 new infections and 13 cases resolved.
There are eight active outbreaks – six involving elementary schools in Chatham, Blenheim, and Dresden, one church outbreak, and one at a manufacturing plant.
There are 15 COVID patients being treated at the Health Alliance, six of whom are in the ICU, four on a ventilator.
Of those 15 patients, CKHA officials say 12 are not fully vaccinated.
ICU occupancy is up to 80% today, while the hospital’s medical, surgical, and critical care beds are 85.8% full.
