CK Home Sales And Prices Soar

No slow down in sight to the real estate juggernaut in Chatham-Kent.

The April numbers were released by the Chatham-Kent Association of Realtors, and the numbers continue to climb.

The 164 units that sold in April showed an increase of 144 per cent compared to April of 2020.

There was a 47 per cent hike in the average sale price up to $424 thousand dollars in the municipality.

The value of the total sales topped 69 million up a whopping 260 per cent.

Inventory remains the one stumbling block.

Active listings reached a 30 year low.

The Association expects that to change.
