A celebration of local and international films and filmmakers is returning to Chatham-Kent.
The Chatham-Kent International Film Festival is back for its seventh year with several screenings and panels at the Kiwanis Theatre, starting tomorrow and running through the weekend.
Organizers say they received a record-breaking number of submissions this year, allowing them to curate a must-see lineup of films that showcase incredible storytelling, innovation, and cinematic celebration.
The weekend includes the Chathm-Kent Youth Film Awards, being handed out Saturday morning, and a Film Makers Breakfast on Sunday.
The film festival wraps up with the annual awards ceremony on Sunday, with 18 honours, including Best Feature, Best Director, Best Actor (both male and female,) and Most Promising Individual, among others.
