The number of people looking for work in Chatham-Kent is inching up slightly.
Municipal figures show the jobless rate rose by 0.3% in March compared to the month before, to 7.1%.
That’s compared to 6.2% for both southwestern Ontario, and the province as a whole.
That’s still down from a year ago – Chatham-Kent’s unemployment rate in March 2016 was 8.9%.
