Plowy McPlowface? Snow Meiser? Lord Coldemort?

Chatham-Kent is looking for the public’s help in naming six snowplows.

The municipality is embarking on a contest to name the snowplows using their on-line community engagement tool, Let’s Talk Chatham-Kent, to solicit names from the public.

The municipality will review the suggestions and will narrow the list to 25, with the public then choosing the top six, one for each ward across Chatham-Kent.

Officials say suggested names must be family-friendly, not include any foul language, and be free of discrimination.

The cost of creating and installing signs on each of the renamed snow plows will be covered by a $1500 sponsorship form WINMAR.

Suggestions can be submitted online until November 12th – CLICK HERE.
