Chatham-Kent is looking for additional public input on how and where tax dollars should be spent.

The municipality has launched a second survey on the Let’s Talk Chatham-Kent website to give local residents another chance to have their say on the 2024-2027 Chatham-Kent budget.

The survey includes a number of questions related to recommended changes in the draft budget and gives residents the chance to provide general comments.

The results of the survey will be provided to CK Council prior to budget deliberations, to help guide them during the decision-making process.

This is the second survey launched by the municipality to allow for public consultation on the multi-year budget. The first was launched in late May and remained open until the end of June.

The second online survey will be open to the public until October 19 and can be found by clicking here.

The draft budget is expected to be delivered to council on November 15 with the first night of budget deliberations set for November 28.
