A Chatham-Kent man has been charged after a pickup truck crashed into a police cruiser northeast of Kitchener.

The Ontario Provincial Police said on the morning of March 18, a stolen pickup truck attempted to evade a tire deflation device in Maryhill, and struck the cruiser.

No injuries were reported.

A 22-year-old man from Chatham-Kent was arrested and is facing 12 charges in connection with the incident.
