Charges have been laid following a violent confrontation in Chatham.
According to Chatham-Kent Police, a man and woman got into an argument at an Emma Street property late yesterday afternoon when the man allegedly assaulted the woman. The victim also told police of a similar incident a few days prior.
A 52-year-old man was arrested and has since been charged with assault causing bodily harm and two counts of assault. He was released with conditions and a date in court next month.
