The dynamics of the workplace have  never been more diverse when it comes to the needs of different generations of employees.

The municipality is set to host a virtual workshop to help point out new opportunities.

The Chatham-Kent Small Business Centre is holding the workshop called “Thriving In A Multigenerational Workplace” March 24th.

It will focus on how businesses can effectively operate and communicate with upwards of 5 generations working together.

Each employee brings different perspectives and experiences to the table.

There will be a focus on managing versus leading, and also notes on the characteristics of each distinctive generation from the Silent Generation and Baby Boomers to Generations X, Y, and Z.

Gary MacDonald, Founder and CEO of Clearview Training and Consulting will lead the session that runs from noon-1:30 pm.
