While an official announcement isn’t being made until tomorrow, Chatham-Kent has been confirmed as the site of one of 24 new Ontario Health Teams. 
The government is in the process of stream-lining health services across the province.
Over a dozen local agencies have been collaborating on the bid since last spring, including the Health Alliance, Family Health Teams, hospice, and the Erie St Clair LHIN.
The province has been slowly releasing its list of approved Ontario Health Teams for the last several weeks.
A news conference is being held in Chatham tomorrow morning.
