The long arm of the law caught up with a pair of wanted man in Chatham.

Chatham-Kent Police received a call about a man walking in Chatham and officers later found the accused on Murray Street. Further investigation showed the 32-year-old was the subject of an arrest warrant from Ontario Provincial Police in Huron County.

The accused was arrested and taken to the local detachment before being handed over to the OPP.

Meantime, officers responded to a well-being check on a man on Victoria Avenue in Chatham. Authorities say the man, who was found sleeping on the steps of a local business, was wanted on an outstanding warrant for breaking his probation order.

The 54-year-old was arrested and released with a date in court next month.
