A 42-year-old man is in hospital with serious injuries following a shooting in Wallaceburg Friday morning.
Chatham-Kent Police responded to a disturbance in the area of Murray Street and Earl Street around 7 o’clock this morning.
Authorities say the victim had been shot and was taken to the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance with serious injuries.
Officers with the Major Crimes Section are investigating and are looking to speak with anyone with video surveillance in the areas of Murray, Wallace, and Earl Streets.
Authorities say this is an isolated incident and there is no concern for public safety.
