CK Police Looking For Hit and Run Pick-Up Truck Driver

Police are trying to track down whoever was behind the wheel of a pick-up truck involved in a pair of incidents in the last few weeks.

On December 3rd, police were called about a gas theft at the Esso Circle K in Thamesville.

The following day, the same pickup truck is believed to have been involved in a hit and run on Centre Side Road shortly before 2 o’clock. Authorities say the truck intentionally rear-ended another vehicle, causing the second driver to lose control and crash into a water-filled ditch.

A small child was in the vehicle at the time, but luckily no one was seriously hurt.

Anyone who can help with the investigation is urged to call Chatham-Kent Police or Crime Stoppers at 519-351-8477, or 1-800-222-8477, or visit www.crime-stoppers.on.ca and email your tip.
