CK Police Looking For Motorcycle Driver

Chatham-Kent Police are trying to track down a motorcycle driver following a collision in Blenheim.

Authorities say a driver lost control of his vehicle while trying to avoid a motorcycle on Chatham Street South between Snow and Stefina Line around 2:30 yesterday afternoon. The vehicle crashed into the ditch.

The 19-year-old behind the wheel wasn’t physically hurt, and has since been charged with careless driving.

However, police have yet to locate the motorcycle driver, who was heading north on Chatham Street at the time.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Constable Ken Muir at kenmu@chatham-kent.ca or 519-436-6600 mailbox #87002.  Anonymous callers may call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477.)
