Chatham-Kent police are asking for the public’s help following a robbery at a Chatham gas station.
About 2:30 Sunday morning a man entered the Shell gas station on St. Clair Street.
He picked up cigarettes and lottery tickets worth $275 dollars but when the clerk asked for payment the man produced a weapon and fled.
He was on foot running Westbound on McNaughton Ave.
He is described as a white male about 5’9, average build with dark eyes and hair.
He was wearing blue pants, a black hoody, black ball cap, black and grey running shoes, and a red face covering.
The cashier was not physically injured.
