A local advocacy group has launched an online survey to better understand 2SLGBTQIA+ experiences with housing in Chatham-Kent.

CK Pride is inviting members of the community to share their experiences through a new survey, to learn more about the realities faced by 2SLGBTQIA+ individuals in the municipality.

The organization said it hopes the survey will help identify barriers, gaps, and opportunities to improve supports and inform future advocacy.

“We know that housing impacts all of us, but experiences are not the same for everyone,” said the board of directors of CK Pride in a news release. “This survey is an opportunity for people to share what’s working, what’s not, and what needs to change.”

The survey is open to anyone in Chatham-Kent and can be found by clicking here.
