Plans are now in place to get kids across Chatham-Kent vaccinated against COVID-19.
Public Health will be setting up a youth-friendly clinic at the Bradley Convention Centre in Chatham with a “Super Kid” theme, including decorations, activity sheets, and music.
Public Health is also hosting a live Q&A session online Thursday night for parents and kids – CLICK HERE to take part.
“It is so important for us that parents, and youth alike, have the opportunity to ask questions, review information and resources, and ultimately feel comfortable and confident in their decision before booking an appointment” Public Health Nurse Kymberly Logan says.
Parents can now book their child’s appointment online at getyourshotCK.ca or by calling the Chatham-Kent booking centre at 519-351-1010. The first pediatric clinic is being held this Saturday, November 27th.
Additional information, including kid-friendly resources and resources to assist parents with preparing their child for the vaccine are available at www.CKPublicHealth.com/SuperKidsVaccine.
