Entegrus is growing, thanks to the merger with St. Thomas Energy last spring.
CEO and President Jim Hogan says the Municipality of Chatham-Kent is the majority shareholder with 71.5%, while St. Thomas Energy owns 20.6%.
The total value of the corporation is $161-million, which Hogan says is great news for Chatham-Kent.
“We’re projecting that we’re going to be a little more efficient, we’re going to save some costs,” Hogan explains. “Over the next four years, we see the additional dividends to the municipality of Chatham-Kent to be about $2.3 million in total.”
He says the merger will allow Entegrus to provide better service for its customers.
