Chatham-Kent has received a $2,000 dollar grant from Trans Canada Trail.
The money is to be used for cleanup for the Great trail that traverses the municipality.
Initially it was going to be used to sponsor a public clean up event but that’s out of the question now.
Instead it will go towards maintenance to ensure social distancing.
The Trans Canada Trail now runs 27000 km from coast to coast.
