Chatham-Kent residents were out in force this weekend, raising money to help fund cancer research with the annual Terry Fox Run.

Dresden, which has held the title of the top fundraiser per capita in Ontario for the past two years, brought in $34,727.05 with 338 participants.
In Wallaceburg, the first year under new organizers, drew a crowd of 150 people, raising $13,000
Blenheim’s run raised around $30,000, Chatham participants collected close to $16,000, Tilbury’s event brought in just under $12,000, and the Ridgetown event raised just shy of $4000.
All proceeds support the Terry Fox Run, with 82 cents of every dollar going to cancer research.
