Chatham-Kent council voted to defer property tax payments at a meeting earlier this month.
The information is now available on the Municipal website.
Council voted unanimously to move the due date for the next installment from May 1st to July 10th.
They will also waive late payment charges on current year tax arrears until July 10th.
If you sent post dated checks or have it payed automatically and don’t want to pay it May first you will have to contact the municipality at least 5 business days ahead of the payment date.
