After just two seasons in the league, the Chatham-Kent Barnstormers have been chosen to host the Canadian Baseball League (CBL) All-Star Weekend.
The best players from across the league will descend on Chatham-Kent the weekend of July 11 and 12, with festivities both on and off the field.
Fergie Jenkins Field will host a number of events, including skills competitions, the home run derby, and the best of the league’s north and south division.
Beyond the diamond, the celebration will extend into the community. Tweedsmuir Avenue will be closed to traffic all weekend, transforming into a family-friendly festival zone filled with activities, food, entertainment, and opportunities for fans to connect with the sport they love.
Further details about the event, including special guests expected to attend, will be released early in the 2026 season, which kicks off in May.
