CK Youth Advisory Group Recruiting New Members

The efforts continue to encourage more young people to make Chatham-Kent their home.

The latest plan is to form an advisory council to talk to young people and report their findings to council.

This advisory council being put together by the resident Attraction and Retention division is in response to a recent survey showing young people here feel undervalued.

In fact according to the survey only 20 per cent of the young people asked, felt their contributions were valued.

The advisory group will be made up of 12 people between the ages of 15-39 who live, work or study in Chatham-Kent.

The deadline to apply is August 24th – you can find the application online at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/CKyAdvisoryGroup. Hard copies are also available by emailing [email protected] or calling 519-360-1998.
