A new face is leading the charge on the Board of Directors at the Health Alliance.
Alan Wildeman (will-deh-man) has been elected Chair of the Board, replacing Greg Aarseen.
Wildeman joined the inaugural CKHA board in 2018, providing governance to the two hospitals in Wallaceburg and Chatham.
“I am honoured to have been selected as the next Board Chair for CKHA and look forward to working with the Board and administration to strive for the best patient care,” Wildeman says. “The dedication of staff, physicians and volunteers at the Chatham and Wallaceburg sites is at the heart of CKHA fulfilling its mission for our region.”
He brings a wealth of experience to the role, including a bachelors and masters degree in science and a Ph.D in genetics.
Wildeman has also served on community, provincial and national advisory committees and boards, and understands the importance of public institutions to the health and well-being of communities.
