CKHA Filling Vacant Positions

Officials at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance are close to filling the vacant positions left in the wake of the organization’s mandatory vaccine policy.

Out of over 1300 staff at the hospital, 26 people were let go, but officials decided to replace only 21 as the other 5 positions were either casual or temporary.

CEO Lori Marshall says of the 21 spots all are either filled, or are in the interview and posting process.

Marshall stresses while the organization was sad to see those 26 staff leave, the process of filling the vacant positions has had no noticeable impact on patient care.
