An influenza outbreak at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance has been declared over.
The outbreak was first reported December 20, 2022 on the Complex Continuing Care Unit on the 4th floor of the Chatham hospital.
CKHA officials are saying thanks to staff from CK Public Health for their guidance and support throughout the outbreak, and to the hospital’s staff and physicians for their commitment to providing safe, high quality care under difficult circumstances.
Infection prevention and control measures remain in place across the organization.
CKHA officials stress the hospital remains a safe place to receive care.
