A new spin on a 50-50 draw will be helping to support local health care.

The Chatham-Kent Health Alliance is teaming up with non-profit agency Split the Pot Lottery.

The campaign, running now through March 21, supports over 50 hospital partners and offers players over a dozen chances to win with early bird prizes in addition to a guaranteed minimum $500,000 jackpot.

Half of the proceeds from every Split the Pot ticket purchased will directly support partnering hospitals through their foundations.

“The funds raised through the Split the Pot lottery will allow our Foundation to continue to make crucial investments in life-changing equipment and facility upgrades in our local hospital sites,” said CKHA Foundation CEO Christine Mitchell. “This will allow us to remain responsive and adaptable in our commitment to delivering the highest possible level of care to patients from across our community.”
