Chatham-Kent’s hospital has recruited a new physician to its Women and Children’s Department.
Dr. Abdulhamid Azaghdani is now providing care to those living in Chatham-Kent as an Obstetrician and Gynecologist.
Dr. Azaghdani attended medical school in Libya before completing a Fellowship of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists in the UK and a Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada. He and his family previously lived in Newfoundland before relocating to Qatar, where he practiced medicine for four years.
Physicians are currently being encouraged to refer patients travelling out of town or on a waitlist to Dr. Azaghdani.
