The search for a new president and CEO for Chatham-Kent’s hospital is getting a helping hand through the hiring of an outside recruitment firm.
The Chatham-Kent Health Alliance (CKHA) said it has employed Mirams Becker to lead the recruitment process for CKHA’s next president and CEO, following the retirement announcement of CKHA’s current President and CEO Lori Marshall.
“Lori has built a legacy at CKHA that began with a major transformational change in the organization’s culture and operations. Through challenges such as a global pandemic and a cyber attack, she has continued to lead CKHA with a compassionate approach all while ensuring the organization achieved its goals,” said CKHA Board Chair Deb Crawford in a news release. “It’s imperative for us to seek an executive with solid and compassionate leadership skills and a track record of driving strategic initiatives.”
Mirams Becker will provide CKHA with evidence-based guidance to help identify, attract and hire a high-calibre executive who can effectively lead the hospital in the delivery of safe, high-quality care.
CKHA’s Board of Directors has also established a CEO Selection Committee to oversee the recruitment process for Marshall’s replacement.
Marshall, who joined CKHA in 2017, will leave the position this coming summer. An exact date for her retirement has yet to be announced.
