CKHA Invests in New Equpiment

The Chatham-Kent Health Alliance is investing in new technology and equipment. health-care-stock

The hospital’s Recovery Plan has set aside $1-million for the purchase of new equipment this year.

Vital signs monitors, trauma stretchers, pacemakers, a new operating room surgical table, and microscopes are just some of the new equipment coming to the health alliance.

They will also be upgrading patient showers and bathrooms, and purchasing point of care ultraso0und and resources to support advanced training for ER physicians at both campuses.

In the coming months, they’ll begin a 5-year capital planning process to revitalize both the Chatham and Sydenham campuses.
