Chatham-Kent’s hospital is looking to the public for feedback on ways to improve care for patients.
The Chatham-Kent Health Alliance (CKHA) has launched a new patient experience survey across the hospital, which is designed to collect timely, direct feedback about a patient’s stay following their discharge.
When registering, CKHA will ask patients for their email address and consent to email the survey, which will arrive four or five days after they are discharged.
“Every response matters because it shows us what’s working and where we need to do better. Most importantly, it helps ensure our improvements are guided by the voices of the people we serve,” said Fannie Vavoulis, CKHA’s director of communications and patient experience, in a news release.
The data collected will be shared with leaders across the hospital to help CKHA better understand care from the patient’s point of view. The information will directly influence the hospital’s continuous efforts to improve health care services for patients.
