“Refreshing” is the word some Wallaceburg residents are using to describe the direction the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance is heading.
More than 100 people came out to the Alliance’s open house in Wallaceburg last night, where they got the chance to chat with the new leadership team.
CEO Lori Marshall says she heard a lot of concerns.
“Trust is developed over time,” Marshall explains, “and that’s something that I’m committed to working through with the community.”
Marshall says it boils down to building a new kind of relationship between the hospital and area residents.
The Alliance will continue to hold similar community engagement sessions in the future to ensure the lines of communication are open and easily accessible.
