With lockdown looming, the Health Alliance is ramping up its restrictions on visitors.
The hospital is moving to what it calls Phase 2 of restrictions on Boxing Day, allowing for one care partner for long-stay patients in the Rehabilitation, Inpatient Psychiatry, and Complex Continuing Care units
Some exceptions will be made, but the Health Alliance is also asking anyone from outside of Chatham-Kent to find another care partner to visit family or loved ones in hospital for the time being.
As well, the Health Alliance cashier’s office will be closed for the duration of the lockdown, so any bills that need paying will have to be done by phone, mail, or online.
