Getting the finances in order at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance has caught the attention of the provincial government, and can only be seen as a good thing.

That’s the view of CKHA President and CEO Lori Marshall.

“I think that the other thing that the minister noted was the approach we’ve takes at the CKHA appreciated in terms of wise investment of taxpayer resources and delivering high quality care and we look forward to continuing that,” notes Marshall. “Anything we do would be a multi year project, we believe that’s the most affordable for the government and the community no matter what it would be a very staged approach that we would see.”

Marshall says the government and the hospital is committed to modernizing health care across the region, specifically in Wallaceburg.
