A popular 50/50 draw is returning in support of Chatham-Kent’s hospital.
The Igniting Healthcare 50/50 Fundraiser has launched with proceeds going towards the highest priority needs at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, such as life-changing equipment and facility upgrades.
The Chatham-Kent Health Alliance Foundation (CKHAF) will draw the winner of the 50/50 jackpot on May 3, but those who enter also have a chance to take home several early bird prizes every Friday in April. There will be three chances to win a $1,000 prize and another draw for a Chilly Moose Cooler.

The foundation’s last 50/50 fundraiser was launched during the holidays, raising a total of $119,090. Carol Heuvelmans of Erieau took home the grand prize of $59,545.
