Another incredible effort from the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance Foundation as the group has far surpassed this years fund raising goal.
The Foundation was looking to raise $100,000 dollars through the Christmas Wish Tree for the hospitals Urology services.
They have shot way past that mark and have now raised $175,909 dollars.
“We know this past year has been challenging for so many, and I continue to be amazed by the loyalty and generosity of our community,” said CKHAF President and CEO Mary Lou Crowley. “Please know that the funds you have donated will make an impact on patients and families across Chatham-Kent. You are truly making a difference in the lives of others this holiday season, and for that I thank you from the bottom of my heart.”
The Christmas Wish Tree is a very popular event as it allows residents to purchase ornaments to remember loved ones by donating to the foundation.
They held tree lighting ceremonies this week in Wallaceburg, and Chatham.
