Chatham-Kent Police are doing their part to help make sure every child in the community has a merry Christmas.
The police service is kicking off its annual toy drive, with donations going to the Salvation Army.
Constable Renee Cowell says toys can be dropped off at police headquarters, municipal service centres in Wallaceburg, Blenheim, and Ridgetown, or the courthouse in Chatham.
“We’re collecting toys and gift cards up to the age of 12,” Cowell says. “We’re happy to help fill the void that unfortunately our community has during what is supposed to be the happiest time of year.”
This is the fourth year for the campaign.
The deadline for donations is November 30th.
