CK’s Active COVID Caseload Holding Steady at Nine

No significant change in Chatham-Kent’s COVID stats today.

Public Health is reporting four new cases since the last update on Friday, but also four recoveries, leaving the total active caseload steady at nine.

Ontario’s numbers have hit their lowest mark since the beginning of September, 2020 – 114 new cases today and no deaths linked to the virus. The positivity rate across the province sits at 0.9%.

As far as Chatham-Kent’s vaccination rate goes, 75% of the population 18 and older have received at least one dose, while 54% are now fully vaccinated. 48% of youth 12-17 have been given at least one shot.
