CK’s COVID Cases Dip Again

Just seven new cases of COVID-19 are being reported in Chatham-Kent today.

The public health unit says with 18 recoveries, that drops the active caseload to 80.

Five area residents remain in hospital being treated for the virus, and the number of outbreaks is unchanged from yesterday – six workplaces, two congregate living settings, and one at Fairfield Park in Wallaceburg.

A slight uptick in Lambton County’s numbers with 45 new cases and 33 recoveries being reported, bringing the total number of active infections to 214.

The Windsor-Essex Health Unit is reporting 101 new cases today and an additional three deaths linked to the virus.

And province-wide, 46 more people have died from COVID-19. The Ministry of Health is also reporting 2632 new infections today.
