Another drop in Chatham-Kent’s COVID stats today.
Public Health says there’s been one new case since yesterday, and with four recoveries, the active caseload is down to 14.
Hospitalizations are down as well. Another COVID patient has been discharged, leaving just three local residents at the Health Alliance being treated for the virus.
Province-wide, the Ministry of Health is reporting 411 new cases today with a 2% positivity rate.
The municipality’s vaccination rate continues to rise, with 63% of the population 12 and older having their first dose and 10% fully vaccinated with both shots.
