CK’s COVID Front Continues to Improve

The downward trend of Chatham-Kent’s COVID stats continues today.

Public Health is reporting 6 new cases and 8 resolved, lowering the active caseload to 55.

Four outbreaks are still on the books, including an un-named workplace, two Chatham schools, and a daycare.

At the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, three COVID patients remain in care, one of whom is ventilated in the ICU.

Occupancy at the Health Alliance is dropping – only 3 of the 10 intensive care beds are in use today, and capacity of medical, surgical, and critical care units is down to 87.6%.
