CK’s COVID Numbers Continue Their Downward Trend

Chatham-Kent’s overall COVID numbers have dropped for the second straight day.

There are four new cases today and nine resolutions, lowering the total active caseload to 65.

Public health is investigating an outbreak in a place of worship, but hasn’t released any other details at this point.

The three institutional outbreaks, two at CKHA and one at Copper Terrace nursing home, are holding steady.

Chatham-Kent’s mass vaccination clinic continues to chug along with 14,798 doses administered so far.

Elsewhere around the region, Windsor-Essex has 30 more confirmed cases today, while Lambton County is reporting another 20 cases.

The Ministry of Health is reporting 1508 new cases today along with another 14 deaths linked to the virus. Province-wide there are 300 COVID patients being treated in intensive case.
