CKSS Musical Revue Hitting the Stage

A Chatham-Kent institution for more than 30 years, the CKSS Musical returns after a three year hiatus.

A cast of 18 triple threat performers will be taking to the stage this weekend and next in a Broadway musical revue.

Director Christine Baribeau leads a cast of students performing songs from a variety of well-known musicals. Grade 11 student Gillian Jacobs is the show’s chorographer.

The students on stage will be supported by a team of about 10-15 others who are ushering, helping with tech, working in wardrobe, make up, stage managing, or working in the backstage running crew. The performers will also be supported by a full orchestra of 13 musicians.

The show takes place in the Chatham Kent Secondary School’s gym with performances on April 28-29 and May 5, 6, and 7.

Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for students, and 10 and under are free. Tickets can be purchased through School Cash Online or at the CKSS main office Monday-Friday between the hours of 7:30am and 3:30pm.
