Those who regularly use the Clachan Road Bridge in Orford will have to adjust their route.

Starting on February 28, the Municipality of Chatham-Kent will close the bridge over the Thames River for rehabilitation.  McLean Taylor Construction has been contracted for the project.

The bridge is expected to be closed to vehicular and pedestrian traffic until the fall of 2022.

A detour will be in place during the closure to direct traffic around the site.
