A community gathering featuring classic cars and coffee is helping to support local students in need.
RM Classic Cars recently raised $1,209 during its Cars and Coffee event on June 6 and donated the proceeds to Noelle’s Gift to Children.
Raised through attendee donations and community generosity, the funds will be used to help Noelle’s Gift continue supporting children and families throughout the region while expanding its fundraising and community partnership efforts in Chatham-Kent.
“Every dollar raised helps us support local students with the essentials they need to feel confident, included, and ready to learn. Events like this not only provide financial support, but also help raise awareness about the work Noelle’s Gift is doing in our communities,” said Jodi Mandeno, with the Chatham-Kent chapter of Noelle’s Gift.
The annual event is typically held during the summer months, with collector car enthusiasts and community members enjoying a display of vehicles in a relaxed and family-friendly atmosphere.
Noelle’s Gift to Children is a volunteer-driven organization that supports students across Chatham-Kent and Sarnia-Lambton by providing clothing, footwear, hygiene products, school supplies, food supports, and other essential items.
