A classic car restoration shop based in Blenheim has been recognized once again at one of the most prestigious car events in the world.

The 1932 Duesenberg Model J Figoni Sports Torpedo, which was restored in Blenheim by RM Auto Restorations, was awarded “Best of Show” during the famed Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance.

The Duesenberg competed against 40 other vehicles from 18 countries and 33 states.

This marks the seventh time a vehicle restored by the Blenheim restoration shop has won at the event in Pebble Beach, California.

The Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance is a yearly automotive charitable event, which is typically the finale of Monterey Car Week held annually in August. It is widely considered the pinnacle event of its kind.
