The clock is ticking for area residents who want to take advantage of the annual Community Living Wallaceburg box lunch.
Spokesperson Alicia Allaer says the deadline for orders is April 9th.
“What you get is your choice of chicken Caesar, ham and Swiss, [or] veggie and cheese on a kaiser, and included is creamy coleslaw, fresh fruit, dessert, and your choice of Pepsi, Diet Pepsi, 7-Up or water and of course, [it’s all in] our reusable thermal bag,” says Allaer.
Lunch will be delivered April 19th.
“It’s $10 for the lunch, and that includes delivery. We go all over Chatham-Kent and into Lambton. We go up to Corunna, Ridgetown, Blenheim, Tilbury, Dover Centre, Dresden, Wallaceburg, [and everywhere in between],” Allaer says.
All proceeds benefit more than 400 people with intellectual disabilities in Chatham-Kent.
