Railway construction will once again cause some traffic headaches for drivers in Chatham.

Municipal officials say Queen Street and William Street South will be closed to traffic at their respective CN Rail crossing for rehabilitation starting at 7 o’clock Tuesday morning.

The posted detour route directs traffic along Lacroix Street, Richmond, and Park Street.

The closures will remain in place until 5 p.m. on Friday.

Detour signs will be in place to guide drivers around the closures and emergency vehicles will not have access through the work zone.
