A fire in Chatham early Sunday has left a Colborne Street home severely damaged.
Damages have been estimated at $100,000. When crews arrived, the home was fully involved and heavy smoke and flames poured from the building.
A firefighter received minor injuries and was transported to hospital where he was released after treatment.
The cause was undetermined due to the severity of the fire, but the surrounding properties were protected from the spreading fire.
Fire fighters from Stations 1 and 2 were called out about 1 a.m.
